Teaching Photography

I just wanted to let everyone know of my latest endeavour. I’ll be teaching photography at Georgian College this fall – specifically the Nature and Landscape Photo (PHTO 0054) course, part of the continuing education programs offered at the college. It has no prerequisites – anyone can register! It runs fromΒ  October 14th to November 4th, filling 18 hours of in-class and in-the-field time.

I am very excited to be doing this, and to be given the opportunity to teach photography on a professional level. Thanks to everyone that has supported my photography over the past few years – your constant encouragement and support have brought me to this point – and I certainly am not stopping here. πŸ™‚

    Hi sweetheart, Donny!

You have grown so much in so many ways since we met. You inspire everyone around you especially with the photography that you do(besides everything else, such as:work so hard, care for friends, family and loved ones, you always give your best in anything and everything you do,usually not spending enough time for yourself to rest/relax) but all the hard work and all of the things that you have learned and perfected on a level to teach are the reasons(I am sure there are many more) for the faculty directing this course to choose you. I know I would have chosen you as well πŸ™‚ πŸ˜‰ <3 You do from wonders to amazing things and am sure that everyone that knows you, especially family, are so proud of you, and me of course, I am so incredibly happy and proud of you! I love you sweetheart πŸ™‚ Please keep on doing what you do best <3 You are a wonderful inspiration and I know from my own experience, a great teacher too πŸ™‚ (even thought not much about photography would stay with me, just not born for it like you :)).

    Forever yours,
    Desi <3 Donny

Congrats Don, welcome to the college teaching world! It is a very rewarding experience, can be a bit taxing at times, but your passion for the subject matter will make it a breeze. Wish you all the best in this next exciting endeavour!
