Hi sweetheart and all observing Donny's art :)

It is as amazing as ever. There always is so much life and inspiration in the photos you take. I love looking at this pictures because it tells a story and birds are not just birds but have character. Some are shy, some so playful in their own way. It makes me smile every time I see it.
Thank you for sharing it with us :)

Hi Peter, thanks for your comments! The flight shots were taken at or above 1/1000th shutter speed, which was possible in the full light of the sun no problem. The lens focused fast on the birds in flight, and nailed it most of the time. Quite happy with it!

I'll keep shooting - a little upset that its raining today, doesn't look good for Monday either. Ah well, spring is on the way!

Hey, Don.
Beautiful shots.
The detail is quite remarkable, especially considering the subjects are moving fast in a lot of the shots.
I concur with your choice of the favourite, although I have to say I really like the one of the "Mallard Couple". Really nice, and peaceful-looking. Again, the detailing in the feathers of the male is fantastic.
Looks like the lens was the right choice for sure.
Keep on shooting, my man.
- Peter.
