Looking through photos

While making a futile attempt to clean my room recently, I came across my box of photos and thought I’d look through some of it. I came across one photo taken by my father that I really quite liked. I’m going to assume this is Onaping Lake, though I don’t know when or exactly what island is in the photo. Regardless, it is beautiful and I wanted to share it.

Island in the mist

I found a bunch of scenic vistas from worldly places that I’ll post when I have time to scan them, too.

Update: Just got off the phone with aunt Cathy and we had a wonderful talk. I showed her this photo and she says that its the island right next to David’s Island. He might have even taken the photo from “his” island, or a boat drifting beside it. She also mentioned that he named it too, but can’t recall the name at the moment. Any ideas?

Great shot, your dad had a real eye for capturing beauty, I think you may have inherited it. Also glad to hear my mom could be of assistance, as long as its not computer-related, she has some useful things to say… haha, love ya ma! Looking forward to the scanned “worldly” photos, Don!

    Don,
I first got on your site because of the shot you took of Vera Inco mine in Thompson at sunset.
Great photography – your eye is well connected to your heart!
